The Lee Casey Memorial Award

A $2,000 award each year for ten years.
Lee Casey had a long and distinguished career with news agencies, both as a journalist and later as the chief executive and chairman of Australian Associated Press. After retiring to Killcare on the Central Coast, Lee became immersed in his community, including through the Bouddi Society where he was the driving force and editor of a highly successful book celebrating the history and culture of “The Bouddi Peninsula – A Very Special Place.’
Lee had been involved in a major children’s charity and was a keen amateur musician. Both of these interests were combined when he helped form the Bouddi Foundation for the Arts and became a member of the original committee.
Lee was passionate about the arts and about the wonder to be found in the talents of young people. This award perpetuates Lee’s memory and continues to promote his beliefs.
John Bell Encouragement Award
John's award goes to an individual in any discipline that has impressed and deserves encuragement to continue there efforts to create a career in the arts.
The Graeme Anderson Award for Excellence
A $2,000 award each year for ten years.
Graeme Anderson is a retired businessman with a long history of involvement on the board of the Reginald John Lamble Foundation. He is an energetic participant in community affairs serving on the executive of three community organisations in the Killcare-Hardy’s Bay-Wagstaffe area and was the instigator and prosecutor of a successful bid to allow community access to Lobster Beach and Hawks Head.
Graeme is also a committed private philanthropist whose main interest is in providing support for young people who face difficulty in achieving their great potential because of economic barriers. This award is offered in that spirit.
Charrington/McBride Award
John and Pam sponsor the Charrington/McBride Award to assist a young person from the Central Coast with their education in the visual arts specifically Painting-Drawing and Sculpture.
Those eligible would be aged 18 to 30 years of age.
ORiGiN Music Group
Origin sponsor one or more awards in the category of Music or Musical Theatre each year. Awards may be in the form of cash or in kind such as recording studio time or mentoring.
